Basket Filter is a small equipment that can remove the solid particles. It can ensure the normal work of the compressor, pump, instrument and other equipments. When the liquid enter the filter drum with a certain filter screen, the impurities are stopped and the pure liquid can discharged from the filter. Just remove the removable filter drum and reload it when needed washing. Therefore, the operation and maintenance are convenient too.
The function is to filter the mechanical impurities in the medium; rust and sand in the sewage and solid particals in the liquid so that it can protect the parts of tube from abrasing and blocking. 3.Basket filter selection criteria:
a). Import and export path:
In principle, the inlet and outlet diameter of the filter should not be smaller than the inlet diameter of the matching pump, and generally the same as the inlet pipe diameter.
b). Nominal pressure:
Determine the pressure level of the filter according to the higher pressure that may appear in the filter line.
c). Selection of the number of holes:
The main consideration is the particle size of the impurities to be intercepted, which is determined according to the requirements of the medium process. The particle size that can be intercepted by various specifications of screens is checked in the table below "Filter specifications"
4.The application field of basket filter:
1) Metallurgy: used in the filtration of the hydraulic system of rolling mills and continuous casting machines and filtration of various lubricating equipment.
2)Petrochemical: Separation and recovery of products and intermediate products in the process of oil refining and chemical production, particle removal and filtration of oilfield injection water and natural gas.
3)Textile: Purification and uniform filtration of polyester melt in the drawing process, protection and filtration of air compressors, degreasing and dewatering of compressed gas.
4) Electronics and pharmaceuticals: pre-treatment filtration of reverse osmosis water and deionized water, pre-treatment filtration of washing liquid and glucose.
5) Thermal power and nuclear power: lubrication systems, speed control systems, bypass control systems for gas turbines, boilers, oil purification, feed water pumps, fans, and dust removal systems.
6) Mechanical processing equipment: lubrication system and compressed air purification of papermaking machinery, mining machinery, injection molding machines and large precision machinery, dust recovery and filtration of tobacco processing equipment and spraying equipment.
7) Railway internal combustion engines and generators: filtration of lubricating oil and engine oil.
