Operating Instructions:
Dramatic changes in pressure or misflow flow should be avoided during startup, shutdown, cleaning, or other processes to prevent membrane damage.
During startup, we recommend the following procedure for gradual transition from standstill to operation:
- Inlet pressure should gradually increase over 30-60 seconds.
- The design staggered flow rate should be reached within 15-20 seconds.
- The water produced during the first hour of operation should be drained off.
