ultrafiltration membrane is a sieving process that utilizes membrane (nanometer-level) separation technology. Driven by the pressure difference on both sides of the membrane and with the ultrafiltration membrane as the filtering medium,numerous tiny micropores densely distributed on the surface of the ultrafiltration membrane only allow water, small molecular substances and dissolved solids
to pass through and become the permeate, while substances in the original liquid whose volumes are larger than the micropore diameters on the membrane surface are retained on the inlet side of the membrane and become the concentrated liquid. Thus, the purposes of purifying, separating and concentrating the original liquid are achieved. The filtration precision of ultrafiltration ranges
from 0.002 to 0.1 micrometers, and the molecular weight cut-off is between 1,000 and 100,000.
FEATURES OF FIBER-REINFORCED PVDF MEMBRANE
High physical tensile strength:Physical tensile strength can increases several times at least, and the intensity of hollow fiber membrane can be further increased by adding the number of fibers.
Tightly bound with no coming off:The fiber material has a certain compatibility with the main body, and is completely packed by PVDF main body material, so it will not come off, and can be backwashed.
High loading density:Higher than braided tube blending membrane, smaller in volume and low in cost of filter plant.
Long service life:Uniform distribution, tightly bound, which can prevent the problems of flow resistance and adsorption fouling caused by exposed fiber.
Large water flux:Occupies 3-5% of membrane material volume, which has little influence on membrane structure.It is more than 2 times larger than braided rope structure membrane, equal to hollow fiber membrane with no support.
Low cost:Simple preparation technology with a cost less than half of braided rope structure
