Hydraulic rotary filters (also known as rotary line filters) are critical devices for oil purification within hydraulic systems. They achieve continuous self-cleaning through rotating filter elements, ensuring system oil cleanliness and extending component service life.
Working Principle
Rotary Self-Cleaning Mechanism
System pressure drives the cartridge rotation. As oil flows inward through the filter media, contaminants are trapped on the cartridge surface. During rotation, accumulated impurities are dislodged by internal scrapers or oil flow and collected at the housing base, enabling uninterrupted filtration and self-cleaning.
Dual-Mode Protection
Normal Filtration: Oil passes through the cartridge into the system, achieving filtration precision of 1-100μm (commonly 10μm or 25μm).
Bypass Emergency Mode: When cartridge blockage causes differential pressure to exceed limits (typically ≥0.35MPa), the bypass valve automatically opens. Oil then bypasses the cartridge directly into the system, preventing equipment shutdown.
