The media filtration system of HGBMF utilizes deep media to effectively remove particulate matter and reduce turbidity. If specific filter materials are installed, such as activated carbon, zeolite, etc., they can also adsorb and remove corresponding organic compounds, ions, etc. The fluidized device (bottom drainage device) in the system can fluidized the filter medium, remove pollutants trapped on the medium, and discharge them thoroughly for cleaning.

Working principle

Filter status:
When the system is in a filtering state, the raw water is evenly distributed through a unique water distributor, and the water passes through the packing layer inside the filter in a laminar flow state. There are multiple evenly distributed water collectors at the bottom of the filter, which collect and extract the filtered water evenly. Horizontal flow filtration can enable the filter to achieve good filtering effect even at high flow rates.
Backwash status:
Impurities continue to accumulate in the packing layer, and the internal head loss continues to increase. When the pressure head loss of the inlet and outlet reaches the set value, the system starts the automatic flushing valve, causing one standard sand cylinder to switch to the backwash state. The backwash time is 1-3 minutes. At this time, other standard unit sand cylinders in the system are still filtering, and the filtered clean water is used to backwash the standard unit sand cylinder, while the rest is still sent to the user; The backwash wastewater is discharged through the backwash drainage outlet of the automatic valve. After the backwash is completed and the pressure head loss inside the standard unit sand cylinder is reduced to a reasonable range, the unit sand cylinder returns to the filtering state, and the next standard unit sand cylinder enters the backwash state. All sand cylinders are cleaned sequentially, and the system returns to the filtering state.

The backwash time can be adjusted and is set to 3 minutes at the factory. There is a timer inside the system that can be used to set the most suitable backwash time for specific process conditions. By designing special controllers, high demand control such as centralized or remote control can be achieved.
The filtering system can be installed in different ways. The HGBMF filter can be used as an independent filtration system, utilizing the existing water supply pump in the process. Of course, if it is used as a side filter, it can also be equipped with its own pump separately. The HGBMF filter can also have multiple processing units installed on a common pipeline, allowing for unlimited filtering capacity of the system.
