The coalescer filter element is designed to separate highly dispersed emulsified water particles and remove particulate pollutants from hydrocarbon fuels.
Aviation and industrial coalescing filter cartridge
The coalescer filter cartridge is used as the first stage of hydrocarbon fluid filter/separator containers. They perform two functions:
(1) Aggregate (combine) highly dispersed emulsified water particles into larger water droplets, and (2) filter out particulate pollutants.
