One of the most important components of wind turbines, the speed increaser gearbox, operates under high stress and in harsh environments, and its critical parts, such as bearings and gears, must be effectively lubricated and protected. The lubricating fluid must be equipped with the best high-efficiency filters to ensure the normal and efficient operation of the gearbox and the wind turbine.
The filter is double-precision filtration, and the filter element consists of two parts: the fine filter element and the safety filter element. When the differential pressure of the filter element is lower than 4 bar/the check valve on the filter element closes, and the working medium passes through the
10μm fine filter element and then enters into the next executing element. When the differential pressure of the filter element is greater than 4 bar, the check valve on the filter element opens / the working medium is filtered through a 50 μm safety element.
In any case, unfiltered oil will not enter the lubricated parts of the gearbox. The filter element is equipped with a differential pressure transmitter, which indicates when the filter element is clogged and the differential pressure reaches 3.5 bar.
