Pulse Type High Temperature Resistant Boiler Dust Collector
How a cartridge dust collector works:
The cartridge dust collector intercepts dust through the surface of the cartridge. After the dusty airflow enters the equipment, the dust is trapped by the fiber layer of the cartridge and the clean air is discharged through the filter media. As the dust accumulates, the pulse valve is activated at regular time/pressure, and the compressed air is blown back to the cartridge, shocking down the accumulated dust to the dust collection box to maintain the filtration efficiency. Folding structure of the cartridge increases the filtering area, combined with coating technology to improve the dust removal effect, suitable for high-precision, continuous dust processing scenarios.
How a bag filter works:
A bag filter uses fiber bags to intercept dust. After the dusty gas stream enters, the dust is trapped by the outer surface of the filter bag, and the clean gas is discharged through the filter media. As the dust thickens and the resistance rises, the pulse valve is activated at regular time/pressure, and the high-pressure airflow reverses to blow the filter bag, which instantly expands and shakes off the dust to the dust hopper, restoring the filtration capacity. The filter bag is made of high temperature resistant and corrosion resistant material, which is suitable for metallurgy, cement, electric power and other high temperature and high concentration dust control scenarios.

1. What is the working principle of Liefeldt Dust Collector?
Answer:
Lifelite dust collector adopts high efficiency filtration technology, through the negative pressure generated by the fan to inhale the dusty gas, the dust is intercepted and filtered by the cartridge (e.g. polyester fiber, film-coated filter material, etc.), and the clean air is discharged. Some models support pulse blowback cleaning system to automatically clean the dust accumulated in the filter element to ensure long-term stable operation.

2. What do I need to pay attention to when installing the dust collector?
Answer:

Make sure the equipment is placed horizontally and away from flammable and explosive environments.

Check the voltage (e.g. 220V/380V) when connecting the power supply, and the grounding wire must be reliable.

The pipe interface needs to be sealed tightly to avoid air leakage affecting the dust suction efficiency.

Before the first startup, check whether the filter element is installed in place and whether the dust cleaning system is normal.

3. How often should the filter element be replaced?
Answer:
Filter cartridge life depends on the use of the environment and the nature of the dust, usually recommended:

Ordinary dust: Replace every 6-12 months.

High humidity, sticky dust: check/replace every 3-6 months.
If a significant drop in suction power or a broken cartridge is found, it needs to be replaced immediately.

4. What may be the reason for the suction power decreasing when the equipment is running?
Answer:
Possible causes include:

Clogged cartridge: clean or replace the cartridge.

Air leakage from pipes or connections: check the sealing.

Dust collection bucket is full: Empty and clean the filter in time.

Failure of the fan: contact after-sales service to test the motor or circuit.

5. How to solve the excessive noise of dust collector?
Answer:

Check whether the equipment is placed smoothly to avoid resonance.

Clean the fan impeller of accumulated dust or foreign matter.

Make sure the silencer (if any) is intact.
