Medium Grained Walnut Shell Sand Filter DN80 for Petrochemical Industry:

Fiber ball filter is a relatively new type of precision water quality treatment equipment among pressure filters. In the past, double filter media filters, walnut shell filters, sand filters, etc. have been used in the reinjection treatment of oily sewage. The fiber ball filter can meet the standards of oily sewage reinjection. It is made of a special fiber filament synthesized with a new chemical formula. The main feature is that it has been essentially improved, from the lipophilic type of fiber filter material to the hydrophilic type. The filter layer in the high-efficiency fiber ball filter uses polyester fiber balls with a height of about 1.2m, and the raw water enters and flows out from top to bottom.

working principle:
The fiber ball filter is also a pressure-type mechanical filter. The fiber ball porosity accounts for about 93% of the filter material layer. When the fiber ball filter is running, water flows in. Due to the resistance of the water flow through the filter layer, the filter material forms an ideal gap structure with upper and lower layers. It not only has a large flux, but also increases the ability to intercept dirt and remove suspended solids and mud in the water. Sand, and remove organic matter, colloid, iron, manganese and other impurities in water.
Filtration state: When the system is in the filtration state, unfiltered water is evenly distributed through the water distributor, and the water passes through the filter material layer in the filter in a laminar flow state. When water flows through the filter material layer, impurities are trapped in the filter material layer. There are multiple evenly distributed water collectors at the bottom of the filter, which collect and lead the filtered water evenly. Advection filtration allows the filter to filter at high flow rates and still achieve better filtration effects.
Backwash state: As impurities continue to accumulate in the packing layer, the internal pressure head loss will continue to increase. When the inlet and outlet water pressure head loss reaches the set value, the system will automatically activate the constant pressure difference device to switch to the backwash state. The motor drives the agitator to rotate in the tank, making it easier to clean the accumulated impurities. When the system is in the backwash state, the water flows upward from the bottom, and the motor drives the agitator to fully clean the filter material, and then flows out directly from the sewage outlet. After backwashing, the system returns to normal filtration state.
